Huyi Community:Calls for Contribution
Release time:2025-02-13 12:59:38
Community Engagement:This initiative proposes the development of an AI-augmented Financial Data Lab designed to transform the teaching and learning of financial econometrics into a hands-on, visually rich, and research-led experience. The project integrates AI-driven data simulation, interactive visualisation, and scenario-based experimentation to enable students to explore, test, and interpret econometric models in dynamic financial contexts. Econometrics for finance plays a critical role in understanding financial markets, risk dynamics, and investment strategies. However, many students struggle to bridge the gap between abstract econometric theory and the complex, non-stationary, and often “messy” nature of real-world financial data. Traditional teaching approaches—largely reliant on static datasets and textbook examples—offer limited support for developing intuition, experimentation, and critical interpretation of empirical results
Immersive Digital Learning Solutions for Embedding ESG in Corporate Finance: Call for Contributions
We warmly invite educators, researchers, data scientists, EdTech developers, and industry practitioners to contribute to this initiative. Contributions may include, but are not limited to:
-Pedagogical designs for AI-enhanced econometrics or finance education
- AI-based data simulation models and synthetic financial datasets
- Interactive dashboards and visual analytics tools (Python/R)
- Case studies linking econometric theory to real financial problems
- Assessment designs, competitions, or micro-credential frameworks
- Reflections on employability, skills development, and responsible AI use in finance education
Why Contribute?
- Participate in a community-driven, open, and experimental learning initiative
- Co-develop reusable teaching and research artefacts
- Engage with interdisciplinary peers at the intersection of finance, AI, and education
- Contribute to publications, showcases, and dissemination activities linked to the project
We welcome contributions at different stages—from conceptual ideas and prototypes to fully developed teaching tools and research outputs. This initiative aims to foster collaborative innovation, transforming a theory-heavy subject into a practical, intuitive, and future-oriented learning ecosystem.
